Diamo Blue - New Owner in United States!

Diamo Blue has left his home in Canada for warm California skies! Previously owned by W Charlot Farm, he was welcomed in March by his new owner, Ryan Pedigo, of Ryan Pedigo Sport-Horses/Hanoverians. Warmblood Stallions of North America would like to congratulate both parties and wish Diamo Blue all success in his new home!

Diamo Blue is a 10-year-old, Elite, fully-approved Oldenburg stallion with a well-respected jumping pedigree (Diarado/Chacco-Blue/Landadel), a successful show record, and noted success as a sire.

New owner Ryan Pedigo has this to say: "Diamo Blue is truly a once in a lifetime horse for me; he’s everything I have dreamed of in both a breeding and performance stallion.

“I bought Diamo Blue because of his spectacular pedigree, his outstanding temperament, scope, style, ride-ability. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for W Charlot’s program. Every one of Diamo Blue’s offspring I have come across has been of spectacular quality, stamped by their outstanding sire.”

Diamo Blue was imported to North America soon after the successful completion of his 70-day stallion test in Germany in 2015. Immediately upon arrival, he competed successfully in both the Young Horse Jumper Series in Florida, and then competed in Ontario, Canada from 2016 until 2020. During these show seasons he captured many Hunter Derby Championships, both in Canada and the US. He was owned by W Charlot Farm in Ontario, and excelled in his performances with top Canadian Hunter rider Kristjan Good in the saddle.

W Charlot Farm posted the following on Facebook: “We would like to congratulate Ryan Pedigo Hanoverians on the purchase of Diamo Blue. This wonderful stallion will be continuing his exciting career in California, not only in the show ring but also as a breeding stallion. We know he will be very successful and enjoying the warmer weather.” W Charlot will honor existing breeding contracts - contact the farm at office@wcharlotfarm.com.

Ryan’s plans for Diamo Blue’s future include both showing and breeding. “Diamo will actively be showing on the show circuit and actively standing at stud. It’s important to me that horse show enthusiasts have the opportunity to get to know this special stallion. He’s a good-minded athlete with all the scope and talents one could hope for—and an extremely consistent producer.”

About Ryan Pedigo

I have been very active in the horse industry for 25 years plus: breeding sport-horses, raising young horses, bringing along investment horses for sales, importing investment horses and breeding stock.

In addition, at my private 10-acre farm in California, I run my hunter-jumper training business, Pedigo Farms, Inc. I train young horses, seasoned show horses, show my own and clients’ horses, and train clients. Actively and daily running my two businesses makes a life I greatly enjoy.
